ERIS

The cut becomes structure, detail, and identity.

ERIS starts from one gesture: take a pure wooden body and break it. The fracture is resolved by a mirror-polished brass wedge that separates and locks the two halves together—turning discontinuity into a structural spine.

Behind flush, handleless fronts, storage is generous and clean: continuous shelves and vertical partitions. Walnut stays dominant with natural oil/wax finishes, while the central insert and the hemispherical front foot—the “golden apple”—are polished brass with protective treatment. The piece stands on a stable three-point support: the front brass sphere and discreet, adjustable rear feet.

ERIS è una madia in noce massello definita da una frattura centrale:
un cuneo in ottone che separa e, allo stesso tempo, tiene insieme il volume.
Il taglio non è decorazione: è struttura e firma.

Dietro le ante a filo, senza maniglie, l’interno è generoso e pulito: ripiani continui e partizioni verticali. Il noce rimane dominante con finitura a olio e cera naturali; l’inserto centrale e il piede emisferico frontale — il “pomo d’oro” — sono in ottone lucidato con trattamento protettivo. L’appoggio è a tre punti: la sfera in ottone anteriore e due piedini regolabili e discreti sul retro.
