AETHER

Where Sky Meets Stone

In Greek mythology Aether is the primordial god of the upper sky, the pure, radiant light breathed by the gods. AETHER brings that idea down to earth: more than two metres of marble and brass rising from the floor and ending in a single line of light.

A solid marble base carries a sequence of interlocking rectangular elements, stacked like gems in a setting. As the structure climbs, geometry gives way to a continuous curve of tubular brass that draws one luminous stroke across the room. Stone and metal, weight and lightness, rule and gesture meet in one vertical piece.

The body is designed in three marbles with a strong identity, Rosso Levanto, Verde Alpi and Blu di Savoia, and can also be produced in resin or ceramic, allowing a manufacturer to build a coherent range across different price points. With an integrated LED source of up to 3,000 lumen, AETHER lights a whole room as well as defining it, in high-end homes, hotels and contract projects alike.
