A Balanced Duo in Concrete.

COPPIA brings two characters together in a single body. It is a concrete vase built on duality, solid and void, mass and colour, industrial gesture and domestic intimacy, and on one decisive line: the joint at its centre, a clean cut that divides the two halves and holds them together. It is the signature of the project and the first thing the eye recognises.

Cast by CREA Concrete Design, a company that has shaped concrete for designers and architects since 1950, COPPIA stands 32 cm tall with the weight and presence of an architectural object. The interior is treated to hold water, so it works as a vase as well as a sculpture. The three standard colours, Rosso, Blu Giungla and Giallo Polenta, can be extended with custom finishes for hospitality and retail projects.

COPPIA was first conceived as an accessory for the TRIPTICUBE modular system, before becoming an independent product, complete with its own packaging and care manual. It has been published in Design For 2019 and exhibited at Czech Design Week in Prague, with the Lambrate Design District, and at 1000 Vases during Paris Design Week.
